Today’s blog will be quick – just like our dash to the top.

Arriving at the base of the Harbour Town Lighthouse on Hilton Head Island, we paid our entry: $3.50.

The climb to the top, 114 steps, can be taken leisurely as the stairwell is a museum of artifacts and information.

Some of us like to read every word.

Others just want to get to the top FIRST.

I could barely get him to stop for this photo.

There was a lot to see from the top.

Boats, dolphins, town, the golf course……

The lap around the top took approximately 3 minutes and 14 seconds. I think we spent more time in the lighthouse gift shop.

Whether a dash or a dawdle – the climb to the top of the Harbour Town lighthouse is well worth it. (The time and the $3.50)
