snowy day

I had a to-do list today.

It involved finishing up the holiday decorations around the house. Catching up on a few loads of laundry. Giving the kitchen a deep, post-Thanksgiving, floor to ceiling scrub. Doing the under painting on canvases.

And then it snowed and school was cancelled and I was blessed with 4 extra bodies at home.

I slept in until 8:00. We ate soup and grilled cheese. We baked oatmeal cookies. They played in the snow and I followed them with my camera. In the end we had fun and accumulated a few extra loads of cold, soggy laundry.

My children are beautiful and goofy, and while they claim to not like each other very much, their laughter defies their words.

Enjoy some snaps of our first snowy day in 3 years.
