I haven’t checked in for a few days.
Our cable/internet was out.My phone has been uncooperative. Signs from God that we were meant to be outside soaking up real life.
Each day has been more glorious than the next. We have celebrated endings. Spent lazy days with friends. Frolicked with the local creatures. Climbed stuff. Built stuff. And said some hard goodbyes.
Last day of school! Down the school steps and onto summer adventures.
“Hello Conch, I hear you make a very tatsy as a fritter.” No worries – we returned him to the sea.
8th grade promotion ceremony. 1) caps and gowns seemed a bit excessive for the end of 8th grade. 2) I don’t like that my 14-year-old could pretty much pass for a High School graduate. 3) VERY proud that in just 1.5 years, she managed to make an impression on her teachers and coaches to be the most decorated female student – in academics and athletics.
Underwater is a good place to be.
In bloom.
Searching for lunch. (Next time I WILL have my zoom lens.)
Grace on the beach.
SNAIL RELOCATION

Show your mother.
Relocate to new homes.
People watching. (LOVE the guy on his head!)
Searching for shells. An abundance of beach glass today.
Popsicles as the sun goes down.
Next stop on this summer adventure: South Carolina / Georgia.
